I am a member of the Council of the Society of Solicitors in the Supreme Courts of Scotland and volunteered to update content its content in Wikipedia, by using published text from Dr J B Barclay's "The SSC Society 1784-1984" and information held in the database created by the last but one Secretary of the Society regarding former members now deceased. I am aware that, although I derive no personal of financial benefit, this is defined as creating a conflict of interest with regard to that organisation.
As I understand it, all text proposed was or can be independently referenced and was wholly objective.
