Kemar "Di Kemys" Whittingham well know as Kemys A musician/music producer/studio engineer at Big Ship Studio in kingston Jamaica and the C.E.O. of Di Kemys Records Kemys was born in Jamaica to Sandra Morgan of (Living light production) and Winston Whittingham (musician and harmony singer) Kemys develop his interest in music production from a very early age while he was the lead singer in the group "The Whittingham Brothers" that consist of he and his brothers (Javen Whittingham and Deromie "Amechie" Whittingham) now known as "Rebirth" with one additional member Oniel Whittingham (the youngest of the Whittingham brothers) Kemys would be directing the arrangement of the instrumental and full performance of the group (The Whittingham Brothers) being the nephew of the legendary reggae super star Freddie McGregor, Kemys given the chance to go around many reggae/dance hall artiste and producer. while in school, Kemys develop his skills in production making beats and recording it to 2 inches 24 track tape. that was the beginning of his producer career. working alongside his cosign Stephen "Di Genius" McGregor Kemys worked with numerous superstars such as Beenie Man, Movado, Sean Paul, Deen Frazer, Judy Mowatt just to name a few. Kemys also work for many producers as a studio engineer and musician. in 2012 he decided to start his own record label "Di Kemys Records" under the "Big Ship" umbrella, with the song "Gal Mi Waah Yu Swear by Elephant Man followed by "Wisdom Riddim" in 2013, consist of 10 tracts. Kemys continue to work for other producer throughout the years while he do a small number of productions for his label (Di Kemys Records). in mid 2016 Kemys decided to reduce his service to other music producers and focus more on his group (Rebirth) his camp (West Block) and his Label (Di Kemys Records)
