• This is a legitimate and good faith anonymous WP account. There is no deception and there is never any cross-posting to the same article under different names in order to create a falsified consensus. Because of the vindictive and ideological attitude of certain religious organizations it is impossible to use my main, realname WP account for fear of retribution, professional blacklisting and other attempts to impose the point of view of the highly religious parties which attempt to impose their ideology onto WP.

For an example of what I regard as the proper tone of discussion in these topic area, I refer all interested parties to https://plus.google.com/s/athiesm. That kind of mutual respect should prevail at WP rather than the militant religious agenda of those who seek to convert WP into an organ for dissemination advertisements for their own brand of religiousity.

I deeply resent the opinionated ad hominen attack against this user by a user with a declared religious agenda, who fails to critique the substabce abd content of my contributions to the Militant atheism article but chooses rather to menace me with a checkuser inquisition and an attack on my editing rights. Thereafter, yet another user with a declared affinity, in his case, to Catholicism, (distinguishing himself from something he called "anti-Catholics" on WP) templated me with a spuriour User Warning for supposedly "edit warring" when in fact that was based upon one single revert which I made, pursuant to a detailed and courteous discussion with the user who had made the edit. When that user reverted my revert, I had graciously crossed out my complaint, posted a note that I wasn't worried about it, and upon this more or less model example of a collegial disagreement handled properly, the Catholic-affiliated WP editor then posted the harassing warning template. One single revert is not "edit warring" as that user knew full well. So what is going on here is POV harassment because, most likely, they find my User ID to be an annoyance. But they will just have to get over it.

• I work with clergy and my status might be affected if it were known professionally that I edit Wikipedia articles which deal with religious topics. Thus, I have a right to an anonymous account.

In the event that any of the opinionated POV warriors who have been hassling me manage to get me subjected to a check user "outing" or through other means break my anonymity and "out" me as a freethinking God-fearer, then I will be forced to bring to the light of scrutiny for my own defense final versions of the draft letters on file. If the POV warriors knock of the [{WP:HOUND]] and stay focused on building the encyclopedia then these drafts will become, er, fossils.

• I have back up copies. I worse comes to worse, I have no qualms resigning from collaboration with clergy, so if POV warriors succeed in discovering my identity and getting me "fired" I will not be nearly as concerned as some might expect.
