==Omahenene village==

Omahenene village is situated some few kilometers(approximately 25Km) west of Outapi town,alongside Ruacana main road in Omusati region. it features different plant species and a fertile flat land suitable for plant production. it's well supplied with water from the canal that stretches from Ruacana to Oshakati and most of the its dwellers have taps in their houses,which means that tap water serve as household usage like drinking and cooking and canal water for washing , watering plants and so forth.

the village is very important in terms of economic development since it hosts different department such follow: aquaculture department, agriculture department and the (WAD) woman action for development, health centre.

aquaculture department

this department has fish [1] ponds for fish production and the nursery for the fingerlings. it serves as a business that sells fishes to the villagers and all over the country and this is mostly the way on how it expands its production through gaining profit as it makes business out of fishes. dwellers of this village are sometime called for the harvest during harvesting period and are allowed to take fishes they catch, along with them to their houses.the department also offer employments for the villagers as permanent and casual workers for short time period.

agriculture department

this department has much contribution to the village's development, it has a project[2] for livestock production whereby different animal species are being bred. it also has mahangu development whereby this kind of plant is plant and sold to the community and elsewhere,small plant species production such ground Babara nuts and other plants that are yearly plant, rain doesn't really the plant production because different watering methods/techniques has been developed since it was launched, to save plant lives during drought season.

woman action for development (WAD)

this program was aimed at improving and developing woman's life in n Namibia by offering different trainings and under the leadership of the (manager)Mrs Veronica D. this department[3] offers different classes to those who annually get enrolled for different projects at the this department such as cooking classes, computer classes,sewing and others. there are also a few vegetables being planted at this department like cabbages,carrots and so forth.

Omahenene clinic

Omahenene clinic serves as the health center for most of the nearest village on the same location closer to Omahenene village and its under control(health services offered here have much connection with Outapi hospital which provide medications are delivered form and ambulance services) of the main Outapi district hospital.
