I am a card carrying member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), and as the fantastic Charlton Heston put it, before his tragic incapacitation, "they'll take my gun from my cold, dead hands."
My favorite TV show, ironically, is Columbo, who never once used his gun (I don't think I even saw him wear one, but let me know if I am wrong on that). Funny old world.
