I am an author originally from upstate New York, now living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Writing is a second career that I began in 1996, following retirement from 20 years as a cop and investigator in New York State. I currently have 10 books in print - seven fiction and three non-fiction. My non-fictions are about Las Vegas police and organized crime history, specifically the Vegas reign of Tony Spilotro. Tony was the Chicago Outfit enforcer that served as Sin City's organized crime kingpin from 1971 until his murder in 1986. In the movie Casino actor Joe Pesci played a character based on Spilotro. My books dealing with that era are The Battle for Las Vegas - The Law vs, the Mob'' and CULLOTTA - The Life of a Chicago Criminal, Las Vegas Mobster, and Government Witness.
