james joyce page 257 "Finnegans Wake"
Joyce alludes to a nursery rhyme that reads
Old Daddy Dacon Bought a bit of Bacon Put it on a chimney pot For fear it would be taken
I can find no more than this - does anyone know the rest of the rhyme, where it comes from etc
