I am a technical writer and frequently turn to Wikipedia as a reference tool. Recently, however, I had a little time to wear a contributor hat and update the stub about the Mexican folk art sculptures known as alebrijes. It's not so much an area of expertise as an area of interest. I had the good fortune to meet Manuel Jimenez and several other woodcarvers on a trip to Oaxaca in 2001 and have a modest collection of their work.

Since I have definitely benefited from the existence of Wikipedia, I hope to continue to find time to help generate content. Other topics of interest include the weavers of Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxacan cuisine, food and wine, and things related to horses and riding.

My contact information is available from my website, [designcage.com]. I also maintain a site about food, wine, and cooking called [the Wine Kitchen].
