"As a woman I feel constantly told to be quiet, be pretty, stay weak, get a man... but does anyone ever ask who I am, what I want?? I want my opinions heard. I want to be loud. I want to sometimes look pretty and sometimes look ugly. I feel a spectrum of emotions, and I want to be allowed to have times where I am pathetic and weak, and times I am strong, hard, and tough. I want to be able to show and feel all of these. Most of all, I'll accept a man into my life when one is good enough for me. Until then, shut up.
