[1]Charles Osagie Emuze is a Broadcast Engineer and open governance advocate from Ewohimi in Esan South-East LGA of Edo state.

Early life and Education

Born in Lagos, South-Western Nigeria to a businessman father and trader mother. He is the first of five children with three sisters and a brother. He went through with his nursery and primary education at Starlight Nursery & Primary School Lagos where he ended with a scholarship to primary five in 1994. While in primary school he was part of the Boys Brigade squad and also featured on the TV kiddies show "Children Corner" on NTA2 Channel 5 Lagos. He proceeded to Jubilee Model Grammar School Lagos where he completed secondary school education in the year 2000 before proceeding to Madonna University Okija where he bagged a Bachelors of Engineering degree (B.ENG) in Electrical/Electronic engineering in 2008 with a CGPA of 4.44 out of 5. He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria Kaduna in 2012 where he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma Degree in Management in 2013. Between 2011 and 2013, he passed through the American University of Nigeria African Center for ICT and Innovation ACIT where he obtained training in IT Essentials and Cisco Networking.

Career

Between August 2006 and March 2007 he interned at the Nigerian Television Authority , NTA2 Channel 5 Victoria island Lagos where his passion for broadcast media was ignited. Subsequently, he would volunteer at the same organization in 2008, 2010 and early 2011 as an engineer and a TV presenter anchoring a tech show titled "THE HUB". By second quarter 2011, he proceeded to GOTEL COMMUNICATIONS LIMITED located in Adamawa state North-East Nigeria as a broadcast engineer. At TV Gotel, he also produced and presented the first youth current affairs TV show titled "Townhall".

In the same year, he moved to Lagos to join Bloomberg TV Africa as the first indigenous broadcast engineer on the Bloomberg project. In 2015, he joined the international operations department of 10-time award winning TV station, Channels TV , as a Senior broadcast engineer.

Charles Emuze is a Broadcast Engineer by profession alongside being a TV presenter and a social commentator.
