Ondangwa Town

Ondangwa is a town of 11,000 residents within Oshana Region of northern Namibia, bordering Oshikoto Region. It is situated about 80 Km from the Angolan boarder post in the Ondonga local area. The word Ondangwa means end of ondonga area and (Ondonga is one of the kingdoms of Ovamboland).[1]

The location of Ondangwa makes the town a natural gateway of the Northern Regions. This town is govervened and administered by a town council through planning coordination, and partnership in the delivery of urban services towards socio-economic development and improved quality of life.
