I'm not sure why a prior user page I created was deleted. It's MY user page. Doesn't that mean I control the content?

I suspect that it was because I included a link to my website. So I won't include that link, or even an unlinked mention of the address. Of course, it should be simple for anyone to figure it out, or use Google to find it. (For the record, even though it looks like a commercial website, I haven't made a penny off it - yet.)

At any rate, I DO plan on learning more about the rules of being a user.

I REALLY don't want to screw up any live articles, so I'm very hesitant to make changes. Therefore, rather than add a citation on the article about Roulette that has a [citation needed], I added a comment to the talk page, and put the citation there.

Once I learn more about edits, I may make that change - if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

I'll also eventually change this user page.

Thanks.

Edited to note that I HAVE made edits to a VERY small handful of Wikipedia pages. But that was before it occurred to me to create a user account, so there's no link to that history.
