Dartrolium is a very stable element with only one recorded synthesis in the 1990s[1]. Due to it's difficulty to synthesis its properties are largely unknown. Fortunately, it's high stability means the yield from the original synthesis is still viable today and will likely be around for another 100 years[2]. What is known is that Dartolium is less reactive in cold, dark environments. A yet unknown force repels the element away from situations that require it to undergo work. When a reaction is forced it occurs very quickly and is highly exothermic.[3].
