Darko Dimitrov is the most popular composer, arranger and producer of pop music in FYR Macedonia and the Balkans. He is graduated musician from State Music Academy in Skopje. He has composed over 400 songs, as well as producing and arranging more than 800 songs and 30 albums for the most popular artists from FYR Macedonia, Albania, Serbia & Montenegro, Turkey and Germany. He works in his own studio called ‘Studio Dimitrovi’. His songs have been entered in many festivals such as: Makfest (FYR Macedonia), Suncane Skale and Budva (Serbia & Montenegro), Golden Stag (Romania), European Song Festival 2006 for children with special needs,"Eurovision". Darko Dimitrov has won over 30 awards for being the best producer, composer and arranger in FYR Macedonia and abroad. He is co-founder of the music production company ‘M2’ which, through the ‘Search For A Star’ project, offers the opportunity to all young and talented musicians to become stars. As an eminent songwriter, Darko Dimitrov is supported by the FYR Macedonian Ministry of Culture.
