TheElement are a five-piece Pop Punk band from the east of Ireland. The band consists of vocalist Samira Barar, guitarists Dan Maguire and Shane Murphy, bassist Tegan Thomas, and drummer Darren Armstrong. 2 members of the band were in the lineup of 4 Day Weekend, an indie rock band which broke up in 2009. The band started out playing in local bars and clubs in 2010. After some lineup changes the band began writing and recording original music. they have recorded many demos and have released an EP in June of 2011.
