Greetings! My name is Daniel T. Pryor, although I am best known as Danny Pryor. I am president of Rodan Media, a South Florida company specializing in all forms of digital media, including web development, video production, content strategy and writing.
I have had two versions of my company, as the first one failed miserably. The second incarnation of the company, however, has done very well.
My history in media dates to 1988, when I first went to work with KNUU news radio in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1990, I took a position with WINZ in Miami, and later transitioned to print and television. In 2001, I started the first Rodan, which capitalized on the relatively new nature of the Internet.
I have been awarded the AP Best Individual Achievement award for news coverage in a large radio market, and I was nominated in 2012 as developer of the year by the domain industry during their annual awards program at the Targeted Traffic Conference.
My greatest fears are that we will destroy ourselves, as a species, for being stuck in a superstitious mindset, failing to grasp the truth and examine life from a logical perspective. Emotions are great things, when they properly serve us, but too often, I believe, our fears govern our deeds. I believe our politics, particularly in the United States, are regressing to a less civilized condition.
I support children's charities, believe in a strong and vibrant space program, and I have contributed to the B612 Foundation for the launch of Sentinel, the planned IR NEO tracker that will help us know the positions of all the potentially dangerous asteroids, comets and celestrial flotsam that could impact Earth.
