Jonathan Halevy, MD

Professor Jonathan Halevy has served as the Director General of Jerusalem's Shaare Zedek Medical Center since 1988. A graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine of Tel Aviv University, prior to assuming the position at Shaare Zedek he served as the Acting Head of the Department of Internal Medicine in Petach Tikva, Israel. Professor Halevy is an expert in various field of healthcare including internal medicine, gastroenterology and public healthcare management. He has twice served as a Fellow at the Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut.
