Dancingbrolga, Malaga, is a native of Adelaide in South Australia, has also lived in London and Singapore, and is currently a resident of Southern Spain. Brolga studied art at Carlisle, Bournemouth and Harrow Colleges of Art, and Art Education at the University of London before freelancing as an illustrator and completing a doctorate at Queensland University of Technology. Publications by Brolga include academic journals, reviews, an illustrated children's book and a full-length work of creative nonfiction.
