My name is David Dickerson, and I am an engineer living in Dallas, TX. I am primarily interested in science in general, literature, and cycling. I also have many interests and hobbies that are somewhat cyclical in nature - currently including gardening, education, astronomy, and science fiction.
I am originally from Jackson, Mississippi, where I lived until I left for college. I hold a bachelor of science degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Mississippi State University. I will begin testing for my PE in two years.
I am somewhat new to Wikipedia, having made my first contribution in October of 2005. I plan to step up my contributions in the near future and write some full articles.
