dalekpete (no leading capital) is also known as Peter Whiteley.
The name was chosen rather randomly in 1996 to post on a message board and has been used ever since.
His interests include Chesterfield F.C., where he is currently company secretary, and local cricket. In the latter field he competes at the lowest level he can find.
He grew up in Old Whittington and has returned to live in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
