Hello and welcome. This is a Wikipedia user page that I have set up so that I can add information from The Cochrane Library.

The Cochrane Library produces world-leading systematic reviews on evidence-based medicine. Its aim is to provide health care professionals, researchers, policy makers and patients with the most up to date and accurate information on a range of health care issues.

The information is published through six databases, including the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, which works to analyse health care interventions to determine which are useful, which aren’t, and which are harmful.

The Cochrane Library is dedicated to transparency, and the reviews are authored by researchers and clinicians with no stake in any of the health care interventions that they asses. As part of the reviews conducted of medical procedures, Cochrane researchers will assess medical trials to warn of any studies that could be biased, or which are based on weak methodology.

I’ve created this Wikipedia account and user page so that I can add the latest medical information to Wikipedia straight from the source. All of my edits are fully verified through external sources, and will often come from the same data sources that are sent to the world’s leading press. My aim is to ensure that patients and health care professionals are able to follow the most recent developments in medical care through Wikipedia.
