Hell, I am a student in Georgetown University's Communication, Culture, and Technology Program. Last semester, I worked on a wiki-ambassador project in Dr. Turner's CCTP-752 class. This semester, I am working on yet another wiki-ambassador project, this time for Dr. Turner's CCTP-745 class, with the assistance of Ben (see box below).

Born in New Mexico, I spent much of my childhood in Colorado and lived in California for a while. I like the east coast, but have never acclimated to the hot, muggy summers. Good skiing and surfing are also much too far from the DC area.

I have a few hobbies and guilty pleasures, including english linguistics, drinking too much coffee, Apple products, and enjoying the occasional pop dance song. I hope to someday complete a FT (Financial Times) weekend crossword puzzle (named the polymath). I've tried my hand at a few, but I probably won’t finish one without a great deal of help from Google. I own a BMW motorcycle, but have found DC to be a spring and fall-season city for riding. I take modest pride in doing almost all of the maintenance on the bike. I love reading and learning about and discussing communication and education (e.g., TED, Ignite Talks, Pecha Kucha presentations, poetry slams, too many on-line journals to list, and so on).
