Hi, and welcome to my user page. Feel free to talk to me by clicking on the discussion link.

Been working on the articles requested for the longest times. Feels good finding out this obscura.

I'm focusing on articles that I feel are most useful/interesting to others.

Ananta das Goswami (Gosain) Goswami possibly misspelled with an "a" vice "o"

Current info Non-verifiable:

Ananta das Goswami (Gosain) was a great and very well known poet, philosopher, sadhak and baul guru among the west Bengal Bauls. Son of the great poet Khyapa Chand, he came from a famous and traditional Baul family that belonged to the Vaishnava caste. He was born in 1700, in Birbhum, west Bengal. He wrote nearly one thousand songs.

Currently left note for blogger at: http://premaprayojana.blogspot.com/2005/10/bauls-of-bengal-banglapedia.html To see if he knows something of him and a verifiable source.

From further research it appears that the name is akin to naming a kid John Kennedy Washington all the names are meaningful but together they're a bit suspect... The Banlapedia had nothing on him... or the father...

Going to reccomend letting it go if I don't find anything else...

(Using talk sections for info storage sites until full stub/article is possible. Some of these have scant or vague info, if any.)

P.S. To avoid the issues with excess links I've decided not to have permanent(aka: forgotten) direct links here.
