D4RK-L3G10N is a pseudonym, being unknown to whom it belongs, even raising uncertainties if it is actually controlled by a human. Existing in almost total oblivion towards the rest of the world, few people have even heard this name. It is believed to have kabbalistic properties due to the regressive count of the numbers in the pseudonym.

History edit

The name D4RK-L3G10N was first spotted on the internet multiplayer realm of the RTS game Warcraft III in 2000, after having a successful ascension in an unsighted clan named GOAK. Shortly thereafter the clan went through difficulties. D4RK-L3G10N had a short-living mandate as the Chieftain, in which, after several other desperate mesaures, he took the final decision of disbanding the clan entirely in 2001. He kept being an active player of Warcraft III, joining several clans, some of prestige. At least 3 attempts were made by him to revive the old GOAK clan, due to his strong identification with it. Some speculate that the clan GOAK was actually a secret occultism sect, even having rituals of mass suicide, animal sacrifices, self mutilation and persecution of Socotra inhabitants, yet never concrete evidence was provided. It is believed that he is still attempting a revival of the clan within the Battle.net realm.

The name was still spotted on several other games, such as Homeworld 2, Gunbound and Maple Story, all after 2001, yet always having shot-living appearances. Apparently an MSN User bears exactly the same nickname for at least six years and is quite active, raising suspicions that de facto D4RK-L3G10N is a human being, or an alien with terrestrial communication skills, or even a spirit trapped inside a computer or mainframe, yet some consider it to be a hoax of fellow or even rival GOAK members.
