editNorthern Tamanduas sometimes are nocturnal, but it depends on the individual. They forage both on the ground an in trees, spending about 40% of their active time in trees.
Diet
editA third of the Northern Tamanduas' diet is ants, and the remaining two thirds are termites. [1]
