B.E.E.R (Bar Entertainment Ensemble for Recreation) LLC Is the parent company that conducts many pub quiz events in Michigan and Northeast Ohio. They offer organizations fundraising and promotional opportunities as well as hosting other parties and events. Their main dealings are with the Motor City Trivia as it's currently their longest running venture.

8-Ball trivia

It carries a billiards theme with eight questions asked in the beginning of the game. During that time a random question is designated as a Nerd Doubler which is a two part question worth double the point value. there is an opportunity to use a re-rack where the contestant(s) may respond with two answers only to risk the point value if answered incorrectly. In the next segment, the Quickfire round, contestants will be asked four questions in a rapid format. Each correct answer is worth two points. Finally, contestants will become aware of all scores and will submit a wager based on their standings and confidence in the final category. The final question, which is typically the most difficult, will be asked. The game lasts approximately 50 minutes and two games are played at each trivia venue.

In-Tune with MCT

Played at a limited number of venues due to projector screen limitations, is a music variant of 8 Ball trivia. The need of a projector screen displays the question so there is no need to interrupt a song for repetition.

Quickfire Trivia

This is a question-heavy version of trivia. the game spans nearly two hours and contains sixty-four questions divided into eight rounds. Every question is worth one point except for the last question in each round carries a two-point value, and the final question of the game is worth eight points.

Prizes

Venues all offer gift cards for first, second, and sometimes third place. Other prizes are used in addition or in place of gift cards on special occasions.

P.I.M.P League

the Player Incentive Monetary Program is the name of the organization that Many of the competing teams are also involved in the league. Their scores are recorded and tracked throughout the season. Each season lasts 15 weeks and they offer many ways to make the playoffs. [1]
