I prefer PC games for their depth and strategy. My favorite genre is 4X conquer the galaxy games, like Galactic Civilizations II. Recently I've been spending a lot of time on Railroad Tycoon 3, it's a whole economic simulation. I also tried The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and enjoyed it, although I haven't finished the tutorial yet.
