Why I'm Here: Hey guys – I am a Wikipedia addict and, while I regularly contribute humble sums of money (because I love everything that Wikipedia stands for), I have only poked and prodded at content. Obviously I'm here with my official account because I want to change that.
I have a Masters in Education and an obsession with #CuriosityContagion because it is the #FoundationoftheFuture (both ideas that I want to build out, but don't worry, not here :). I left teaching to learn more about the world that we are preparing kids for (rather something about a possibly similar world, decades into the future and seemingly eons past what we currently know), and I currently manage marketing at an awesome company called Whitehouse Post. They are very education-oriented and help develop young talent, specifically in the editing, production and post-production realms. My moonlighting obsession is to worm my way back into education, whether via volunteering with startups or non-profits, or maybe even the classroom itself – working with the kids has always been my favorite part.
I know I'd be preaching to the choir if I launched into a tirade about how our education system is lacking and direly needing revolution and even more so how tools like Wikipedia are key to this revolution (just go to Ted.com and search "Education" if you want to light yourself on fire on the subject). So I won't say what I just said :) but someday I'd like to be working with kids to help develop and improve Wikipedia entries as part of their theses and class projects, which I'd love to see culminate in them educating their classmates on various topics, using, at least partly, the Wikipedia entries that they contributed to.
Blah blah blah. I could go on and on, so I will cut myself short.

Seeing as my day job is in Advertising, it probably wouldn't hurt to add that to the list: Advertising Marketing
Wikipedia Work & Entries: Unfortunately I haven't kept track of the pages I've edited both prior to and since my launching this page, but they were all minor, grammatical stuff.
Eegads – I have to run and pick up my son – I'll come back to this later! Thanks guys!
