Musical Therapy edit

There are many therapies that go into consideration when it comes to a persons treatment, but the same way that musical therapy has been identified to help soothe the anxiety in Alzheimer patients[1] musical therapy has shown indications of improvements in social skills and attention spans of kids with autism. Music is a factor for therapy treatments for the same reason that; music stimulates both sides of our brain. This is beneficial because music has the effects of sharpening our self awareness and helps us build connections with others socially. This is something that autistic children have difficulty with, bonding with strangers and building the connections with others. By introducing music into their activities we are factoring those connections of the musician with his instrument and hopefully introducing the child, to build his first connection with an object to allow them to become comfortable building those relationships.
