Reza Izad is an American business executive who is a former talent agent and the co-founder and CEO of Studio71 and Collective Digital Studio.[1]

Career

Izad graduated from the University of Southern California in 1996. Following his graduation, he began employment at United Talent Agency where he helped launch the firm's music and branded entertainment divisions, later on working with musicians like Eminem, T-Bone Burnett, Justin Timberlake and Prince.[2] After leaving United Talent Agency in 2002, Izad became a partner at Box Entertainment until November 2005.[3]

Upon leaving Box Entertainment, Izad became a manager at the newly founded company, "The Collective" in November 2005 and helped grow the company into one of the largest music management firms. The Collective managed numerous high profile cilents during Izad's time as a partner including Linkin Park, Kanye West, Enrique Iglesias, Slash, Counting Crows, and Alanis Morissette.[2][4] In 2011, Izad was one of the founders of Collective Digital Studio alongside Michael Green and Dan Weinstein.[5]

Under Izad, Collective Digital Studio began to collect high profile cilents such as Rhett and Link, The Annoying Orange, and Epic Meal Time.[6] Collective Digital Studio specialized in producing, distributing and marketing for cilents.[7] In 2015, Collective Digital Studio was acquired by ProSieben, investing $83 million into the company and merging it with Studio71.[8]

Following the merger, Izad became the global CEO for Studio71, which soon became one of the most engaged digital network on Youtube.[9] The company has undergone many investments from large corporations such as TF1 and Mindset[10] and currently has a cilent list of the biggest creators on Youtube including and currently has a client list of the biggest creators on YouTube including Rhett and Link, Rachel LevinLogan PaulEpic Meal TimeLilly SinghMamrie Hart, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.[11]
