I'm Cortical; this is a new account, but I've been editing sporadically under a changing IP address for about 18 months, mainly in 'vandal fighting', so I'm not completely ignorant of how Wikipedia works. I haven't done much real content work, which is something I hope to focus on now I'm registered. My interests are pretty broad, so I'll probably be editing on a range of topics to varying extents.
