Corineus uses a pseudonym taken from Geoffrey of Monmouth's ''Historia Regnum Britanniae''.

He is currently studying for his Master of Arts in History as an aspiring medievalist. His broader scholarly interests include: intellectual history, Church history, culture history, folklore studies, philology, sociocultural anthropology, environmental history and archaeology. Currently, he is focusing on the study of heretical thought from the High Middle Ages to the threshhold of the Lutheran, Calvinist, Anabaptist and Tridentine reformations in western Europe, taking care not to ignor the equally-fascinating religious milieux just beyond the Latin frontier.
