- I see plagiarism more in terms of intellectual integrity than a legal issue. The idea is to appreciate other people's creative work, not to just do the bare minimum to escape a lawsuit.
- The legal side is obviously more serious, but one first has to give appropriate credit, only then can one discuss fair use: there is no such thing as fair theft.
