I am complicatedman, a reference to Emily Wilson's translation of The Odyssey. I've been a longtime reader and lurker, and have just recently decided to start helping to build the encyclopedia's entries in areas I'm interested in. I have read many editing guides and gone through some relevant talk pages on topics in my areas of interest, but I'm always learning.
I am based in the Northeastern United States.
I'm especially not familiar with the admin/bureaucracy side of Wikipedia, so if anything I need to know about that arena comes up during my editing please let me know. I'm a fast study.
My main interests are in Wikipedia articles related to journalism, crime and the criminal legal system, but I may make contributions to articles across a myriad of topics.
I'm challenging myself to make regular, constructive contributions to pages and work up to building my own. I plan to update my user page with tasks and additional information as I get further in - but as I start my challenge, I want most of my edits to be headed toward mainspace and not userspace.
