The Commander of the LORD's Army is the biblical commander of the LORD's hosts in heaven and on earth. In the name of the Holy Ones of Israel, he breathes and bleeds holy war. His archenemies are Satan and the first and second beasts of Revelation 13.
In the book of Micah chapter 5, he is identified as a "ruler in Israel. His goings forth are long ago, from the days of eternity" and he is the husband of the Daughter of Zion.
He is also the second great eagle of Ezekiel 17:7 and views the first great eagle in verse 3 as the witch King of Babylon- a faux empire but the eternal enemies of the Kingdom of God. While the faux Babylonian empire prepares the biblical mark of the beast, they are also premeditating his torturous death and the murder of his firstborn male child. Therefore his LORD OF HOSTS has prepared His hosts for battle to make their land a perpetual desolation while they sell their children over to the sons of Judah and they to the Sabeans. The Commander understands that war is God's glory and that he was prepared for the apocalyptic holy wars on earth and in heaven by the LORD OF HOSTS.
