I am a Chinese, born and raised in China. Currently, I live in the U.S. and study Computer Science as a PhD student. My background also includes biochemistry.
I also work as a programmer with knowledge in C, C++, Java, Pascal, Assembly (x86 and MIPS), JavaScript, Shell, BASIC, Lex, Yacc, XML, XML Data Binding, XSLT, XQuery, Web Services, Databases (mainly PostgreSQL, and some DB2) etc.
My interest in contributing to Wikipedia started when I noticed many pages on China were (and still are) biased, offensive, and without providing facts.
