Article Review edit

I decided to visit the  Stevens Pass Ski Area,[1] page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: the article being biased, the lack of citations, and citations not being up to date.

Article Bias edit

When reading this page it was clear to me that the article portrayed a tone of advertisement throughout the page. When reading the  Stevens Pass Ski Area, page, I felt like the pages message wasn't to tell me about everything there is to know about the ski area but promoting the ski area. It seems like who ever made the page is trying hard to get people up to the ski area, instead of keeping a neutral approach.

Citations edit

If you look at the Stevens Pass Ski Area, article on Wikipedia, you will find a small amount of citations. Which when reading or using the articles information, doesn't give you much credit for the information. With the few citations that are on the page, only include two accidents that have happened at the ski area.

Up to Date edit

Even though we have already talked about how there is a lack of citations, but the citations that are on the page are not as current as can be. Every citation is about an event that has happened multiple years ago. Even though it said the most recent edit was in December of 2016, It was not a significant edit that updated the page like it so desperately needs.

Summary edit

My thought about this page is that yes it has information about  Stevens Pass Ski Area, but not enough information. Plus the information that is given on this page is barely cited which makes it hard to think of the information as reliable. If this page receives more citations that are up to date with current events and information about the ski area, this page will get the transformation that is needed.
