Current Projects edit
Victoria Square, Christchurch edit
I'd like to get Vic Square through to GA status, but also just generally improve articles on that area.
- Rewrite history section to cover the 100 years that are missing.
- Include a more detailed account of the earthquake, damage, cleanup, restoration, etc.
Add more data to infobox + wikidata.
- It turns out this is already fairly complete.
- Create article for Isaac House, Christchurch.
- Create article for Queen Victoria Statue, Christchurch.
- Create article for Armagh Street Bridge.
- Create article for Magistrates' Court, Christchurch.
Create article for Armstrongs Building.
- I've done what I can to include the building in the PoIs section, but I don't think I have enough to justify an entire article on the subject. It probably meets general notability criteria and deserves an article, but I didn't have the energy to create it.
- Add section covering points of interest in the park (and combine with heritage item list).
- Add a gallery of historical photos of the park (and dig some up from archives).
- Add a Template:photomontage to the infobox.

I maintain a web extension called QWiki-Cite, that can instantly generate a {{cite web}} template for the web page you're currently on.
You can install QWiki-Cite on Firefox. Feedback and bug reports are welcome on GitHub.
This extension is particularly useful if you're into cleaning up a page's citations — for example, if you're weird like me and spend time trawling through pages with bare URL references to try to fight link rot.
The project is open source and licensed under the GNU General Public License. Contributions are very welcome, please submit a pull request on GitHub.
