Biography

Clelio Ferreira Leite is an accomplished professional who has worked in the Portuguese military and entrepreneur. He joined the military in 1982 while studying his bachelor’s degree in Naval Military Science at the Portuguese Naval Academy, and went on to have a successful career as weapon system engineerand was most known by the time he was Chief of Weapon Systems Division (Commander) in the Portuguese Navy. In his position, he was responsible for the Weapons Systems Division of the Navy, which included performing important tasks like heading research & development projects, effectors and sensors program office, and overseeing military procurement programmes.

Professional Career

After a successful career in the military, Clelio Ferreira Leite has transitioned quite well into the world of business and entrepreneurship. As the Chief Executive Officer of Vortex Ltd, a service provider of Birdstrike Control Programs in airports and airfields, and external consultant for other global companies, Clelio often engages with business people from different backgrounds. As he strives to lead his company to great success, he has come to appreciate the value of strategic planning.
