Trade Oil Company, Inc., commonly known as Trade Mart, was a chain of gas stations and convenience stores based in Greenville, North Carolina. It was founded by Walter Williams, David Williams, and Edwin Clark in 1984. The business began with two stores that were originally owned by Taylor Oil Co., under the station brand ETNA. Trade Oil Company, Inc. grew to over 100 stores in Eastern, North Carolina until the company merged with WilcoHess in 2005. WilcoHess operated 353 convenience stores and 37 travel plazas in the Southeast. Eventually, the remaining interest in WilcoHess was bought out by Hess Corp. in 2013. The following year the company was sold to Speedway, LLC and rebranded in 2015. ^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]
