Katere Village Vibe situated east Rundu in Ndiyona constituency. Katere Village Vibe just next to the river. The Kavango River are well known place for entertainment and fishing area. The Kavangos live along the Kavango River they collect water from the river to drink and for domestic use; they catch fish from the river to consume and to sale on local market. Kavango River is the 3rd largest perennial river in Africa as cited by (Delta Research And Global Observation Network (DRAGON),2011) . [1]. This river connects three different countries refer to african map, The three countries are Angola, Namibia and Botswana. There are many reasons why you should come to kavango region: to explored the natural beauty of the river, the evergreen vegetation see kavango' .[2]. Katere is a small village eastern part of Rundu and its most popular one for certain reasons; 1. is where Kavango rivers join Kwito river from Angola; 2. The central area that connect Kaudom Game Park, mahango Game Park and Rundu road; 3. it's along the caprivi high way just to mention few. What can you find at Katere Village Vibe, there is a secondary school called Linus Shashipapo, There is a primary school called Katere combine, there is a clinic called Katere clinic, there is animal quarantine camps called shiyambi just to highlight few. The Lodge and Rest camps around the village are of 1st class. You can navigate the map on some place you can visit and spend your time at Katere village. [7]
There is a very popular football team called Katere Benfica f.c. and this team is very much successful at the local Level with their cabinet full of trophies and Medals. Katere Benfica F.C. used to host anual Tournament every year at the Village where many teams in the region and beyond used to participate. Katere Benfica draw inspiration and model their game on Benfica in Portugal for decade now. The Katere Benfica and Benfica portogal have no contact or relationship and the reliable source of information state that they are busy negotiating to create a relationship between the two club where player can exchange club to embraced the diversity. [8]. The colors of this two popular teams are white and red. The White and Red color are the inspiration that powered the two club to succeed at different level. [9]. The white and red color are inspiration to keep high level competition at regional and villager are sport fanatics, they are centrifugal force the power Benfica to excel. This team follows all the fixtures of the Benfica in Portugal: the leaque, UEFA chempion leaquee and cup competition. This team still going underdevelopment stage which need support and resources. This team is the best ever football dovelpment which produces and still producing soccer stars, NetBall stars and Athletic competing at Regional and national level. This team feed and produce soccer stars to all top team in the Region. example of the Top teams are Rundu Chief F.C. Namibia Premier leaque, Cuca TOps 1st FC, division, United star FC, 1st division, Julio FC and they provide are many other team in the Region as well. Every december most of the club from diffrent Region come here to play friendly Game and sign potential and upcoming promising young stars.
