I am a junior at Marquette University and I am majoring in Physiological Sciences and minoring in Spanish for the Health Professions. I currently work in a research lab and study proteins in post-translational modification, but my goal is to go to medical school and become a family physician and maybe one day open my own practice.
I am from a very small town in central Wisconsin called Waupaca. During the winter there really isn't much to do in Waupaca, but during the summer our population triples because of all the tourists that come to visit the Chain O' Lakes. There are 22 connected lakes that make up the Chain O' Lakes. There are even a few celebrities and professional athletes that have homes on the Chain O' Lakes!
