Thanks for visiting!
My interests include horology (clockmaking and watchmaking), history (of Tennessee and more specifically Henry County, Tennessee), genealogy, music and architecture.
I live near Nashville, Tennessee, work by day as a watchmaker and repair clocks on the side. Previously, I spent ten terrible years in call centers booking travel and then later in worker's compensation claims processing. Before that, I worked at an OB/GYN office and at a local library.
My formal education ended halfway through college. I have since completed a two-year informal apprenticeship with a clockmaker and attended classes at the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI).
I collect items from Paris and Henry County, Tennessee; horological tools, and broken watches and clocks.
My proudest achievements include my marriage and the ongoing maintenance of the tower clock at the Henry County Courthouse.
