I am a recently graduated student from the Master's Programme in Computer and Information Engineering at Uppsala University. During the summer of 2018, 2019 and 2020 I've worked on an open-source software project for Stochastic Simulation using System Dynamics called StochSD[1]. I also did my Master's thesis using this software[2].
StochSD
editStochSD is based on Insight Maker written in JavaScript. StochSD started as a tool for Insight Maker called System Dynamics Statistics developed by Erik Gustafsson[3]. But has gradually been worked in to a separate program using the Insight Maker Engine. The non open-source parts of Insight Maker has been cleared out and replaced with only open-source parts. The original System Dynamics Statistics has been renamed StatRes in StochSD.
What differentiates StochSD from other System Dynamics software is the ability to run multiple simulation on stochastic models to produce and present statistical results of models using the in-build tool StatRes.
