This is ChristianandJericho's advice to new users.
1. DON'T vandalize, almost everybody, the first you want to do is to mess up pages then go tell your friends "look at (article name) on wikipedia" only to find it reverted and your account warned.
2. DON'T revert the experienced users/admins, usually they're right if you see a problem, tell them.
3. If your an IP, create an account. Accounts are better because: 3.1 You can edit more pages. 3.2 You can create pages. 3.3 It gives you a chance to become an Admin.
4. Do not use talk pages to "chat", talk pages are for discussing on how to make the article better ONLY.
5. Get involved in Wiki Projects, It shows off your interests and your reputation.
6. Get adopted if you need help editing.
7.Remember, only upload images that are free/fair use.
With all these steps you can easily be a good member on Wikipedia.
