Chrishy

Hello, I'm Chrishy. When editing Wikipedia I often find myself either reverting vandalism (with tools like TW, HG, and Lupin's AVT), or randomly editing grammar on slightly more obscure articles. Though I'm not a major author in any Featured Articles, I do some of that much-needed background work that keeps stubs readable, small articles informative, or otherwise sub-par areas of Wikipedia up to standard.

Editing Habits edit

When editing, I usually aim for subjects that pertain to my interests. That usually means I'm editing something about chess, linguistics, video games, the Harry Potter universe, classic literature, and many others.

Personal edit

On a more personal level, my name is Chris. Chrishy comes from a mix-up many years ago involving my name and another word. A friend had asked me, "What's a 'chrishy'?" and I guess it just stuck with me.

I'm a 17-year-old male with heavy interests in math and language. I plan to take as many high-school courses in advanced math as possible. I am currently in an Advanced Math Analysis course and a statistics class through my local Governor's School program. I've also just completed my fourth year of study in French and I'm in my second year of Spanish and my first year of Latin. I also love conlangs.

I do have quite a bit of experience with coding, especially with HTML and CSS. I've run some websites before, usually on a small scale of about 200 hits a month, for groups like churches who want a "trendy website!" where I'm as close as they get to a real webmaster. I have run PHP and JavaScript programs for purely experimental reasons, but never for anything really productive.
