Familial adenomatous polyposis is a condition in which an individual is predetermined by genetics to have a frequent amount of polyps. In time many of these polyps can become cancerous and mortality rate for these individuals are high. Many individuals are diagnosed with this disease, but are unaware until it's too late to decide on any treatment other than comfort.
