Chief Allieu Mucktarru-Kallay, from the Madingo ethnic background, is the son of the late Alhaji Chief Mucktarru-Kallay and Haja Memuna Mucktarru-Kallay, commonly known as Omamie, a Sierra Leonean who has resided in the United States of America for 29 years. He has served the USA in key positions including Election Chief Judge of the State of Maryland, former Board-Member of the Maryland State Senate Scholarships, and the first Sierra Leonean African to run for the Maryland State Senate ticket in the United States of America. He was also Political Adviser to two distinguished United States Presidents H.E. President George Bush Sr. and H.E. President Bill Clinton. He received the Presidential Trust Award (PTA) at the Whitehouse by H.E. President George H.W. Bush Sr.

He was born with the name Allieu Badarr Kallay, and in 2008 he became one of the Chiefs of the Madingo in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and was named Chief Allieu B Mucktarru-Kallay.

Chief Allieu Mucktarru-Kallay married his beautiful wife Rosaline M Mucktarru-Kallay, and has 9 children.
