Notes for future essay:
- First, remove all emotional verbiage from anything you're going to post, read it, re-read it, think about it, re-read it again. Do all this before you hit the "save" button on an unblock request.
- Acknowledge that you do understand what the problem was which precipitated the original block.
- Explain that you will make every effort to avoid a recurrence of said problem.
- Put ALL thoughts of "getting even" far, far, FAR out of your head.
- Respond to all proper questions in a polite and HONEST fashion.
- Ignore any and all snark directed at you, and avoid all temptations to respond in kind.
- Keep in mind "FOC", (but don't say "FOC YOU".)
Remember: YOU are the one that is blocked. Pointing out another editors shortcomings is not going to get you any closer to editing.
