Charz Fx (born kame charles) is a Ugandan music video director, filmmaker and cinematographer. He is the founder and CEO of Hit Filmz, a production company that specialises in the realms of the performing arts, film and video. He is also the founder and CEO of Hit Filmz, a record label home to Makindye, Tha Suspect and Illbliss. He was ranked 5th on NBS Television (Uganda)'s list of the Top 10 Most Visionary Music Video Directors. In 2015, he was involved in a Mobil-sponsored music video for a documentary on AIDS. He directed 20 episodes of the TV series Everyday People. charz fx has directed music videos for recording artists across an array of genres and generations, including ferista the super star,Kapilipiti Omubaya , and Zil Zil. In 2018, he shot the music video for Shafil Ug theme song, which was recorded by T.O.N from Kampala Uganda Zaroman and Andy Human. Charz has also shot a good number of documentaries, TV commercials, short films, and TV features. In April 2019,Down on the Road honoured him for his creativity.
In murch 2020, Charz announced plans to premiere his 25-minute horror film Heart Beat. The first official trailer was released on 25 November 2020.[1]
